Movember

I got an email from a friend from New Zealand this week bringing my attention to the fact that Movember is upon us.

Mo, what?

Yeah, that is what I said, too. Knowing some of my guy friends at home (and esp Ben Stock), I am suprised I haven't heard of this before. Basically, Movember (held during "the month formally known as November") is a moustache growing charity event, raising awareness and funds for male health issues (particularly prostate cancer). Guys register with a clean-shaven face and track their progress as the month goes on (too bad it wasn't Moctober... the Wyatt Earp and Tom Selleck halloween costumes could have come back in a big way...)

Anyways, this friend is posting pics on Facebook of the progress but I am going to donate to the cause and for his efforts. In the meantime, I'm not sayin' you should lose the razor and help out for a good cause... but it funny and creative enough to deserve a look.
